What it does
Cut nylon webbing with scissors and it frays. A hot blade cuts and seals the end in one stroke. This one runs on an 18 V battery, so it works on a dock, a roof or a truck bed.
The R-shaped blade is nickel-chromium. A battery, a charger and a hard case are in the kit.
Good to know before you buy
- Built for short cuts with rests between, not for running all day.
- It melts synthetics. Cotton and other natural fibre scorch.
- The heaviest tool in this range at about 2 kg, and the most expensive.
