Great propane torch head
Very heavy duty construction and dependable flame ignition and control.BUT, when I first tried the torch it failed to light. I found the problem was with the spark wire was not inside a small spring in the torch head. Maybe during assembly? Once I placed the spring over the wire it worked flawlessly ever since.

Great Quality Torch!
The Dominick's Torch DM-022 is a torch I hadn't tried before. When it came time to replace one of my other torches, I noticed this brand cost about 40% less than the one I had been buying, so I decided to give it a chance.I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this torch.

not worth the purchase
i usually do not write a review unless something is top notch or not worth the purchase. This one is not worth the purchase. Either the spark is not hot enough to light the torch or the spring is too week to return the start button, or both. I have had it 1 year and it really only lasted about 6 months.

good buy
Good choice because it has a shutoff on the tank and the torch. Some do not so the tank must be shut off to put the torch down or briefly put it down to reposition a work piece

Good value for money torch.
easy to use and powerful enough. The flame is easy to adjust and easy to start. The base holds the torch well and very convenient when working.

Not suitable for children under 36 months old. LOL
Not sure if I should Laugh or be worried.Torch arrived today so I read the box.Big warning...Not suitable for children under 6 months old.Only conclusion I can draw from that is either Chinese toddlers are a heck of a lot smarter than American toddlers or the Chinese do not know what they are writing.

Propane Torch
It functions exactly as anticipated, and I haven't encountered any problems up to this point.

Good value for the Price
Great value for the money, but doesn't have an adjustment valve so its only good for high flame

Affordable and efficient.
I used it to sweat off a main shut off on my house. Worked perfectly. It is made for a map bottle (yellow). The valve is original to the house, so 70 years it's been in place. Plus this torch was reasonably priced and came within 24 hrs.

Keep on very low pressure to keep lit - small but effective little torch.
16 oz propane bottle is too much pressure for this little torch. Only stays lit at very low pressure, which once you find the sweet spot, it's fine. Flame is designed to be only about 1 to 2 inches

if you can get it to light, it won't stay lit.
I cannot keep this lit. I've tried on 2 new propane canisters, varying the gas flow from mid range to wide open. Lighting in a starter it may burn for a second if you can get it lit.

Decent Inexpensive Torch Head
Works fine. Seems durable enough. Very low price. Doesn't make a huge plume of flame, just a smallish one, even open as far as it will go. (About equivalent to my old one when it was half open.)Good enough for most uses. Not self-lighting: requires a separate external ignition source (match or flint or something.)

It works like it should.
Nice product. Good metal, no plastic knob to break off like some cheapos. Nice length too, I hate getting too close and getting back splatter with hot solder. Ow, owch.

My torch was a lemon
This was a loser for me. It's a pretty straight forward propane torch. The first time I used it, it clogged up. I suspect some material (gasket material) was loose in the area of the gas control knob. My first hint of a problem was that is sputtered a few times the first time I turned it on. The second time, it seemed to do OK.

Great value and easy to use. It works.
As described. This works without issue. If you are going to cut some PVC, I would recommend this tool. Much better than a saw or knife. It cuts clean edges with very little effort, and it is very easy to cut to an exact length. The only negative observation I have about it is that it feels like it might not be built for heavy-duty use.

It's a pipe cutter!
I like this one. It's comfortable simple durable and easy to use. Pretty sharp cuts PVC like it should

Works Great
Works great for cutting up to 2" pvc pipe - much easier and cleaner than using a hacksaw. It's a sturdy tool and is holding up well for me under moderate use. It can be operated with one hand, but it's a bit tricky to learn and it helps if you have larger hands. Even so, it makes the job of cutting pvc pipe SO MUCH easier. Great purchase.

Good for light duty - worked great for me
Easy to use and cut pvc pipe easily. However, the cuts were not exactly square and the blade was a little wobbly. This worked great for me on 40 or 50 cuts on 1.5" pipe where the cuts didn't need to be perfect. For daily use over a long period of time or where precision is needed I'm not sure if this would hold up.
4 out of 5
Easy to use
These took me a little trial and error to figure out how to work the location of the blade because it pops into different locations depending on how you move the pieces, but after about 3 minutes I was able to use this easily.

On the cutting edge!
This tool is no tool, it's sharp. The tool has an edge to it that makes it stand apart from the rest, and never a dull moment.Tube and pipe stand no chance, you can cut them in half, with this in your pants.

~Will cut not just copper tubing but other things~
~Will cut not just copper tubing but other things~I got this not sure I would need it but needed to cut some copper tubing when we had a leak, this works great.Easy to adjust to the size you need, then go around in circle till cut.

Heavy Duty Pipe Cutter
This pipe cutter feels heavy duty! My small close quarters tubing cutter is great for getting into tight spaces, but the cutting capacity is limited to around 1". This pipe cutter expands up to 2", but you need the clearance to be able to operate. Overall length is about 7.5" and width is 2.75". The knob is easy to grasp to tighten.

4.2 out of 5 from 350 ratings.

Thin bendy blades
Cuts fine, but be sure to go slow. The blades are very thin (by design) so when they're hot they bend VERY easily if you force them. Turn the heat up, go slow, let the weight of the knife do the work, and use a gentle sawing motion for best results. Also, only comes with two blades, not three as shown. Knocking one star for not coming with the third blade.

Powerful Cutter!
Bought this and was hesitant. After turning the temperature up and using it. It is very hot and powerful. Cuts through foam board like butter. Makes this task easy and effortless.Keep in mind it melts the foamboard. So use in a ventilated area. Not inside.Definitely worth buying. Very effect cutter.

Heavy-duty? NOT
I was pretty disappointed with the durability of the blades provided with this product. I had purchased it in hopes of carving insulation foam for a model train layout, but the blades really struggled (i.e. bent and twisted) if I tried to do anything other than a straight cut.Very disappointing.

DOMINOX KD-6 Tabletop Hot Wire Foam Cutter
4.2 out of 5 from 96 ratings.

Works great, great little machine.
I read some reviews that said it wobbled too much, that's user error. You need to tighten the wire before the first use, you should be able to play a note on it. Pluck the wire like a guitar string and listen for a nice ring. The right edge of the foam was cut on a table saw and the left was cut by the hot wire.

Perfect !
Great value. It is very easy to set up. You can cut different shapes and sizes. Cuts are sharp and smooth I do a lot of DYI project and have tried many other cutters and this is by far the very best and affordable price

Decent tool
The DOMINOX Electric Hot Wire Foam Cutter works, but it definitely has room for improvement. I wish the wire structure was sturdier — it moves a little too easily, which makes it hard to get precise cuts.

Decent tool kit, but a little overpriced
This is a decent tool quality toolkit for small repairs. I plan to keep it in the car for the odd things I need to fix here and there. It may not be very extensive in variety of tools, but the tools it does have seem to be decent.

Add a few more Things for a Car Care tool and First aide kit
I got this physical tool set to put in my van. I always need something to tighten a screw or take something apart and any other number of things because I'm Hands-On kind of gal. I'm an artist and writer and home renovator and etc etc and I'm very pleased with this set.

There's no handle!
This is a decent set and the blue color is a nice touch, who doesn't love a pop of color. The handles on the screwdrivers, hammer, and pliers have rubber grips and are somewhat ergonomic, fairly comfortable to hold. There is a wide array of screw heads and they are all organized within two tightly fitting display holders.

What the complaints have in common
- A torch that will not light. Open the gas knob fully and check the igniter wire.
- A brass torch that will not stay lit on a full cylinder. Run it at low flow.
- A hot knife blade that bent. The blades are thin by design and need a slow hand.
- A cutter blade that broke on hard pipe. Blades are a wear part.
