What it does
A single tip is a compromise. This kit gives the DM-022 handle three of them: a fine flame for small solder joints, a swirl flame for brazing, and a wide one for heat shrink and thawing.
The tips swap by hand. The handle keeps the trigger start and the flame lock, and takes propane, MAP or MAPP cylinders.
Good to know before you buy
- Let a tip cool before you change it.
- The gas cylinder is not included.
- It brazes copper up to 3/4 inch. The wide tip spreads heat and is slower on a joint.
