What it does
Nearly nineteen inches of aluminium handle give the leverage that big pipe needs. The jaw opens to 2-7/8 inch, which covers 2-1/2 inch PVC and leaves room to seat the pipe.
The blade is SK5, and the ratchet still works one-handed on smaller sizes.
It is a step in one of our job rows: Cut PVC and PEX to length.
Good to know before you buy
- It weighs about 4 lb and is nearly 19 inches long. It will not fit a small tool bag.
- Big pipe takes a firm, steady squeeze. Do not jerk the handles.
- Plastic pipe only.
