What it does
A hand cutter is fine for ten cuts. For a day of irrigation or a house of PEX, this one closes the blade with a brushless 18V motor while you hold the pipe.
The blade is SK5 with a PTFE coat and comes off for sharpening or replacement. A 2.0 Ah battery and charger are in the box.
It is a step in one of our job rows: Cut PVC and PEX to length.
Good to know before you buy
- It stops at 1-1/2 inch outside diameter. For 2 inch pipe take the FBEPC-64.
- It weighs about 5 lb with the battery.
- Keep fingers out of the jaw. It does not know the difference.
